THE vEgas buffEt

...US visit continued

i got the chance to visit las vegas too! see alvin minnette and aiden.. i went with uncle arthur on a 4-5 hour drive using his new van with automatic sliding doors =)  neat!

this vegas trip really made me feel so blessed to be a part of this family/clan... as i've said before the one month visit taught me a lot and the vegas trip was a huge part of it..

when you're in vegas never forget to drop by the wynn buffet! it will be on your top moments list! hehe... it doesn't look good on the picture above but to tell you how good it was, let me just say, i got about 4 full plates without rice.. Thanks to everyone who made this possible. hehe.. (that's uncle arthur and family) Note: do not miss the sweet and sour shrimp (my first time) Yummy!... everything on the menu was great for me! sorry for recommending the lambs alvin.. =)

oh yeah before i forget-- you'll also experience women who drop on their knees! i thought she was doing prayer before meals but as it turned out alvin saw what really happened. she was looking the other way as she was walking coz of a guy! the outcome: splat! on your knees woman!

rEcap USA '08

here's a quick recap of my US visit that lasted from sept.24 - oct 24... yeah it was quick but it was in this span of time where i was able to truly notice mE... i was able to reflect somehow =)

my main purpose of having this trip was to get my green card but instead of waiting and just bumming around, i decided to start equipping myself for the my.life to come...

it is during this time that i finished reading 2 of the books i bought here in the philippines! i wasn't much of a reader i tell you but, thanks to my professor in DLSU who influenced me to read, I started investing on books and began my collection with "7Habits of highly effective people" and "crucial conversations"... i would really recommend reading "7Habits". it lets you recognize the principles an effective person should follow and then helps you align your values to it.. go and buy a copy! be a part of the millions who did. here's what the cover looks like..
now i have this line up of books and i'm looking forward to add more and expand my collection... **see wish list ;)**

Now, it was also in this one month that i met "big kid matthew" and "baby aiden". First in line is this big kid (he doesn't want to be called a baby anymore) who calls himself superman, his mom and dad as catwoman and batman, uncle vic as robin, and me as aquaman! =) super kulit! I now present Carl Matthew Bulaclac Boquiren!

he's giving his laser beam look

And then theres baby aiden who at an early age of 1 and 1/2 has a complete set of cleaning tools... broom, mop, and even his own vacuum cleaner! Aiden Riley Galura Boquiren!

getting busy

To be continued...

now, wE bEgin

Emmanuel that's mE...

To start it off... I just arrived here in the Philippines last October 24, 2008 and I'm scheduled to return in LA on March 19, 2009. It will be a long 5 months to get myself ready for the return. In my stay, I'm looking forward to beginning, fixing, and "ending" my stuff here in the Philippines.

Part of the fixing stuff is this : OUR CONDO unit.
improvements made
1. Remodeling (still a mess)
2. my own pillow
3. FAN - Thank you Lord! This truly is a blessing :)

What you see in the first picture is only my space of the double deck we have in the room. You would not want to see what's on the top deck so let's just stay here on the first floor ;)

The pillow is actually the first pillow i bought... since birth! hahaha! it's about time!

the highlight of it all... the industrial fan! This poor thing--->
was the one in charge of the room before we got the new fan. Poor us. Well, not anymore! =)
